Taking place Saturday, June 18th beginning on stage at 1 pm! The little children will be thrilled to meet the princesses. We will have two princesses there! This year it is the Little Mermaid herself, Ariel and the fabulous Snow White! The princesses will sing their signature songs on stage, and do some other song and dance activities with the kids, then they will adjourn to the shady area by the stage and meet and greet the children up to 5 pm! Due to the pandemic there may be some restrictions in place. These princesses are decked out just like the ones you see at Disney World and the kids will eat this up! You may take all the photos you wish at no cost! Let the children dress up in their favorite Disney costumes for this! All free of charge! Don’t let your kids and grandkids miss this!
Remy & Friends!
At 7:30 p.m. on Thursday, June 16th, just after the Little Miss Liberty and Little Uncle Sammy Pageant will be Remy & Friends! Remy is a multitalented artist who will keep the kids’ attention for the entire show. He smoothly goes from ventriloquist to magician to juggler to illusionist to making balloon animals! He uses lots of kids from the audience to help him with the various antics! The kids will LOVE this! In fact, mom and dad, grandma and grandpa and even teenagers will enjoy this show!!
Build a Friend!
A big hit last year, a mobile Build a Friend will let the kids pick their stuffed animal, watch it be filled and sewn together and take it home to snuggle! For an extra fee you can buy a special tee shirt for the bear featuring the Heart of Ohio USA Days logo! Sure to be a collectors item! Look for them on the midway near the rides
Buckeye State of Ohio Sanctioned Kid’s Tractor Pull!
Back again is Buckeye Kid’s Tractor Pull. Registration is at 12 noon and pulls begin at 1. These will take place in the pavilion on the food court!
The State of Ohio Sanctioned Pedal Tractor Pull is for kids ages four through 11. Ribbons will be given to all participants and trophies to the top three places in each age group. All children pull for free. The top three will then be able to participate in the State of Ohio Pedal Full finals at the Hartford Fair in Croton in August. The top winners there would go to the National Pulls at the Corn Palace in South Dakota this September.
Adults 12 and above may also pull once the children are finished but this is at a $5 fee each with “bragging rights” as the prize!
The first year this event was held a Mt. Vernon four-year-old pulled for his first time and made it not only to the state but to the national pull finals! Open to both boys and girls, get there early to watch the fun and cheer for your favorite!
